This campaign worked like a dream: newspaper ads and billboards drove local residents and supporters to a web site (with both English and Spanish versions), where site visitors could sign online petitions (and order and download yard signs, wristbands and posters). The Petitioners were then contacted via rich media e-mail and encouraged to send additional messages of support to local politicians. The result? One in five Petitioners showed additional support.
